Aboriginal Convention

It is customary in Aboriginal communities in Australia to not name or reproduce images of the recently deceased. iDIDJ Australia has taken all reasonable care to observe this convention. Where reference to the recently deceased is considered necessary to our understanding of the didjeridu's history and relationship with the 'outside' world, the personal name of the deceased is obscured by using an asterisk (*) in place of vowels.
